Clinton Kuluse is currently in his 4th year of the BA Fine Arts degree at Wits University. Born and raised in Cape Town, Clinton’s photography serves as a documentation and observation in and of his community, recording everyday experiences and narratives and displaying through his imagery a vivid but transparent look into Coloured lives in South Africa. He is interested in making images that transcend the conditions of living in these areas. In his photographic work and process, he engages with the complications that come with representational practices, creating those uncomfortable moments, and aiming to evoke emotion into the viewer.
