In addition, displayed several images representing the process of his performance in the square city block of Braamfontein and Newtown, Johannesburg.
Ndodana’s work revolves from Africentric aesthetic conceptualisation on metaphors, materials and African storytelling. As an African Artist acknowledging in diaspora he strives to revive black consciousness in his artwork challenging the Eurocentric and Western ideology of how black people should represent themselves and culturally, speaking about how diaspora excludes their own people because of democracy and decoloniality. He draws contextual inspiration from tabita Rezaire, Mary Sibande, Penny Siopis, Mohau Modisakeng and Jo Ractliffe.
