Confrontation refers to a phase within a series of paintings that deals with unpacking experiences in the dream state through a process of making called intuitive-constellating. This process acts as a gesture which informs an ongoing cycle of healing with and through painting. Confrontation becomes a representation of one of the most emotionally laborious phases when unpacking the happenings of the dream state. This process includes transferring repressed memories, sensory, lucid and constructed experiences in an intuitive manner via the acts of continuous layering between different material and substance. The paintings therefore become a reflective documentation of the process of intuitive constellating as an act of healing from particular experiences of the dream state.
