In soul's scape, I find my truth, Through introspection's gentle sooth.
Art, like reflection, I feel, is an ever-evolving dialogue with oneself. My art is a continual journey through the labyrinthine channels of my comprehension, a journey into the depths of my soul.
To where introspection played an important role in the creation of my work. It has taught me the importance of accepting uncertainty. My ideas and sentiments are complicated and ever-changing, and so is the abstract form in which I portray them in my work. The uncertainty of abstraction, where there are no set solutions, just unlimited alternatives, appeals to me.
This journey is not necessarily an escape through the bright and lovely; but it entails addressing the shadows – those hidden worries and weaknesses that lie in the hidden places of my psyche. My art is a representation of the conflicts I’ve experienced within myself, a mirror to the darkness.
The language of abstract art and visual haptics have become my main way of creating, these are areas where imagination takes centre stage blurring out reality. It enables me to go beyond my own body, giving expression to feelings, thoughts, and emotions that frequently defy conventional definition, to where each composition, is a reflection of my introspective approach, a reveal of the emotional landscapes within.
The unconventional mix of materiality within my work expresses the difficulties and problems experienced during meditation. The rubble’s shattered nature represents the fractured components of the self, as well as the indication of entering a vulnerable state kept hidden with in depicted by the glass collage.
I am satisfied on the introspective road that has lead me to make work that speaks to my deepest self. It is a voyage of self-discovery that I intend to pursue for the rest of my life, an expedition of the soul that continues to excite and challenge me.
